Summer’s here, and so is the heat. The kids are done school and lazy summer days, maybe even a ‘stay-cation’, is just around the corner. What to do, what to do? Why not beat the heat and bring the entire family or some friends and make memories that will last a lifetime at Earl Haig Family Fun Park -Brantford’s local waterpark! This hidden summer gem is conveniently located in the centre of downtown and is sure to provide all day fun for kids and adults alike!

There’s something for everyone!

Kids will definitely burn off some of that extra energy cooling off in the splash pad zone featuring a fun water umbrella, spray games, and more! They can even spend some time drying off at the playground, conveniently located next to the splash pad area. Getting hungry? Stop by the Snack Shack and BBQ area for a hamburger or hot dog lunch, quick drink and a treat! Of course you’re always welcome to pack a picnic and bring your own snacks into the park too.

After lunch, gather everyone for a dip into the flower-shaped swimming pool. The older kids will love riding the waterslide! Looking for a more leisurely swim? Then ride the inner tubes and spend a blissful afternoon floating down the lazy river ride. If that’s not enough to fill a summer’s day, then challenge your friends and family to a game of 18-hole mini-putt and practice your swing in the batting cages – batter up!

Summer fun starts with Earl Haig Family Fun Park located at 101 Market Street, South in Brantford. The park is open daily 11:00 am-9:00 pm (pools close at 8:00 pm) August 5 and daily August 7-September 2 until 8:30 pm (pools close at 7:30 pm), including holidays such as Canada Day & Labour Day, from 12-6:00 pm and during the Civic Holiday from 11:00 am-8:30 pm.
