This past weekend in Brantford, from September 29-30th Grace Gallery hosted “Paint With Class” for their first year participating in Culture Days.

Culture Days is an annual grassroots arts festival that happens the last weekend in September every year across Canada. 2018 marked their 9th Annual Event.

Grace Gallery’s “Paint With Class” was a huge success with people of all various ages. You could go there and see 3 year olds all the way up to seniors making a wonderful acrylic or oil painting.

The class was hosted by two established artists and art instructors. Lala Garcia came from Toronto and specializes in Mixed-Media. Vanessa Cress-Lokos came from Burlington and specializes in Oil Painting.

These art teachers will be launching regularly scheduled art classes at Grace Gallery, beginning this October.

Everyone who attended the event enjoyed themselves and got to take home their own masterpiece! The children choose prizes from a goodie bag that Curator, Aidan Lefebvre provides for children that participate in art events at Grace Gallery.

Grace Gallery was very pleased and thankful by the great turn-out for their first time participating in Brantford’s Culture Days. Gallery Curator, Aidan Lefebvre and art instructors Lala Garcia and Venessa Cress-Lokos are looking forward to hosting many more art enthusiasts at the Beginner and Intermediate levels with the launch of the October art classes.
