Have you ever wondered about the origins of Christmas cards? Who invented them? When did they first become popular? Why are they on the decline today? Opening Nov. 17, 2022, come explore our new holiday exhibit Turtle Doves, French Hens and Golden Rings: Holiday Greetings. This exhibit highlights Christmas postcards and greetings from the museum collection. The postcards you’ll find on display range from 1906 to present day.
Both the Homestead and exhibit will be open for tours from Wed. to Sun. from 11am to 4pm. Regular admission prices apply. This exhibit is included with admission to the museum and closes On Dec. 23, 2022. For groups of 8 or more, please call the museum at 519.448.3873 during business hours or email us to pre-arrange a visit.
