Toadally Possum: Animals from Glenhyrst's Permanent Collection exhibition

Running from Sat. May 27 to Sun. July 23.

The children’s exhibition features artwork from Glenhyrst’s collection that represents animals in a variety of ways.  Using engaging artwork and interactive displays, the exhibition includes artist such as Norval Morrisseau, Alexandra Haeseker, Rober R. Whale, Alexandra Luke and Blake Debassige.  Their work asks us to reconsider our complex relationships with animals and their place in the natural environment.  To better facilitate these connections with younger audiences and to improve their viewing experience, the artwork in this exhibition has been installed low on the wall.

“Toadally Possum helps us to animate the gallery’s collexction so that we can better facilitate access and education to audiences of all ages,” says Curator and Head of Collections at Glenhyrst, Matthew Ryan Smith.

Admission to the gallery is free.  All are welcome.
