Join Michael Shewburg, Five Oaks Executive Director for our Rest and Renewal Retreat! Here you will find a space to rest your body and mind, restore your creativity, and regain your natural state of inner peace and well-being. The retreat will be flow between personal time, sharing circle and optional guided activities.

Featuring our Co-Host, Tim Oaks, certified Forest Therapy Guide, who will help you get out of your head, out of your stressed life, to reconnect with nature in a safe space. Scientific studies show that simply walking in a forest reduces stress, strengthens the immune system and lifts moods.

Five Oaks is blessed to be in relationship with the surrounding Carolinian forest, Canada’s richest and more endangered ecosystems. As you experience the incredible biodiversity of the land, you will feel yourself open to the wonder and beauty of nature, sharing from your hearts with our fellow wanderers. Walking deeper into the woods, home to old growth cedars and white pine, Tim will use forest therapy practices to slow you down, tuning in your senses; listening to what the forest is saying to you.
