Event Details

Have you always wanted to visit the Woodland Cultural Centre Museum but haven’t had the chance to visit in person? Join the Woodland Cultural Centre’s education department for a virtual tour of our Museum on February 21 at 6pm. The museum collects, preserves, researches, exhibits and interprets a collection of archaeological material, historical material culture, arts, crafts, documents and archival photographs.

A Cultural Interpreter will guide you throughout the permanent historical gallery. Participants are provided with the opportunity to see the museum’s displays that showcase the history of the Woodland people, specifically the Six Nations (Onondaga, Mohawk, Cayuga, Oneida, Seneca and Tuscarora) from roughly 600 years ago up to present day.

Cost: $10 donation to the education department at the Woodland Cultural Centre.
