Event Details

Just under 360 skaters will be competing at the event from all over Ontario, many from Southwestern, Niagara Region, Toronto area and from as far away as Kincardine.  STAR 1-4 is the Skate Canada competition system that introduces young figure skaters to competitions.  The philosophy of the STAR system is based on the principles within Skate Canada’s Long-Term Athlete Development Guide.

The event runs Sat. Feb. 1 from 8:00am to 10:00pm and Sun. Feb. 2 from 8:001m to 5:00pm. 

Children aged 3 and under are FREE

Paris Figure Skating Club is a non-profit organization that currently has 206 skaters and offers year-round skating programs at the Brant Sports Complex, Paris. The Paris Skating Club will have 31 skaters competing at the event. In addition, many of the Paris club members will be volunteering at the event to make it a success.

Proceeds from the event are shared between Paris Figure Skating Club and Skate Ontario which assists in providing quality programs to skaters of all ages.
