Order your Easter Dinner from Our Kitchen Brantford (OKB).  All proceeds go back to help the kids in need.

Turkey Dinners available for pickup on Sat. April 16 between 10:00am and 3:00pm.

Order by Wednesday, April 13 by stopping in at OKB, 20 Roy Blvd. Unit 34, Brantford or phone 519-732-0629.

Turkey dinners include:

• roasted then braised turkey—slow roasted deboned turkey (white & dark meat) then gently braised in a turkey demi glacé with wine, garlic, sage & rosemary
• roasted vegetables with clarified butter, herbs and balsamic reduction
• mashed yukon gold potatoes with buttermilk, toasted garlic and scallions
• sourdough stuffing with mirepoix, sage, rosemary, cranberries and roasted walnuts
• @thejellygirls amazing cranberry suace
• dessert: caramel apple-pear crisp, bourbon caramel cream

Food will be packaged in over-ready containers with easy heating instructions.  This meal feeds a family of 4 and is $79.95 or $21.95 per person.

All proceeds of these dinners go back into feeding the children.  We have been making about 500 meals per week for the children who are showing up to school without any food across Brantford.  With the numbers increasing we are in need of some new equipment.  OKB is also looking into purchasing a self-slicing meat slicer and a Robocoup with all the blades.

They wish to start collecting bathroom/personal kits for the students that include:

• a toothbrush
• toothpaste
• hairbrush or comb
• natural deodorant etc.
• clean clothing
• backpacks
• shoes
• anything else they are in need of
