Lunch and Learn! Truth and Reconciliation Presentation

This September the Woodland Cultural Centre is introducing Lunch and Learns with our Executive and Associate Directors starting at 12:00pm.  Spend your September with the Woodland Cultural Centre as we educate on our journey of truth so we can work towards reconciliation.

The virtual tour video was created with local production company Thru the Reddoor, and it follows the guide, Lorrie Gallant, as she gives a tour of the former Mohawk Institute Residential School.  During the video, Lorrie provides the history of the institution over its 140 year history.  Vieweers will get to see the different rooms in the school and hear interviews from five Survivors of the Mohawk Institute.

Your donation will help support our education department to create and deliver virtual programming at the Woodland Cultural Centre.
