Event Details

Admission is FREE!  There will be games to play, face painting, and entertainment with featured performer The Barry Kid Show.  St. John Ambulance will host our Teddy Bear Clinic for children to bring their Teddies or treasured companions for their annual medical checkup.  Brant County Public Library will have story time and other fun things for little ones to do.  There will be a fire truck and tractor on site.  Do visit the Kiwanis Tent for a jellybean in the jar guessing contest.

Every child bringing a Teddy or other stuffed animal to the event will be eligible to enter a draw for a special prize sponsored by Jim and Karla Stonham.  Head over to the Peak Realty Tent before 2:00pm to fill out a ballot.

There will be a canteen, with hot dogs and a few other tasty treats and drinks available for cash purchase but, if you prefer, feel free to bring your own picnic.

What Else is Important to Know Beforehand?

  1. The Teddy Bear themed ART CONTEST is back!  Before the day of the event, have your child draw/colour/paint a picture of a Teddy Bear on 8.5 X 11 inch paper and then turn it in to the Kiwanis Tent before 1:45pm.  The artwork will be judged in two age categories – up to and including age 5 and from age 6 to 8.  ON the back, please put the artist’s name, age and an adult’s phone # for contacting the winners.  Only one entry per child please.
  2. Prizes will also be awarded for the MOST CREATIVELY DRESSED Teddy Bear or treasured companion.  Judging will take place at the Kiwanis Tent at approx. 2:00pm.  Listen for the announcement.
