Presented Live on Zoom in honour of International Overdose Awareness Day.
Statistics show that Brantford has one of the highest opioid overdose and hospitalization rates in Canada. In an effort to raise awareness for and to understand this local crisis, Grandview Theatre Company presents a professionally devised theatre production about Brantford’s opioid epidemic, based on recorded interviews with community members who have lived experience of substance use.
The play will premiere digitally on August 28, 29 and 31 from 7pm-8pm, live on Zoom. Each performance will be followed by an (optional) short community discussion and interactive visioning exercise centered around the question “where do we go from here?”.
