HarvestFest Gala Celebration

We’re thrilled to announce that Equal Ground Community Gardens is hosting our first ever HarvestFest fundraiser in support of our 2024 programming.  A cocktail style evening at the Rope Factory Event Hall, 111 Sherwood Dr., Brantford on Thurs. Oct. 19, 6:00 – 10:00pm.  The gala evening will include harvest themed catering by Brantford hot spot Mercasa Little Italy Eatery and Catering.  Entertainment will be provided by local artists, Costa Chatis with a jazz fusion quartet and Shaun Mulrain and his guitars!

Equal Ground Community Gardens is a non-profit volunteer organization which currently supports 28 garden sites across Brantford and Brant County, 11 of which are in city parks in partnership with the City of Brantford since 2015. Last year (2022), more than 6,500 pounds of garden grown fresh produce was donated to the Brantford Food Bank and distributed to the community.

We are looking forward to opening a new greenhouse and learning centre flagship site at Woodman Community Centre in 2024.
