Grand River Chorus Announces 25th Anniversary Lineup:

• Sun. Nov. 5 – Songs of Remembrance featuring Faure’s Requiem
• Sun. Dec. 10 – A Ceremony of Carols featuring Britten’s A Ceremony of Carols and Singalongs
• Mon. March 18 – Madrigals Mayhem featuring selections from the 1500’s up to contemporary pop and folk
• Sun. May 26 – 25th Anniversary Gala Concert featuring favourites from past performances

The Sunday Dec. 10 concert includes Britten’s lovely Ceremony of Carols, as well as other holiday favourites and carol singalong.  Tickets: adult $30., youth (13-25) $15., children FREE.

The final show of the season will include a brand new commissioned piece by critically acclaimed composer, Frank Horvat, with lyrics by GRC chorister, Stuart Bergstra. “We are so excited to introduce this lineup, particularly the new release we have commissioned for our anniversary year,” says Zakamarko. “We’re delighted to be able to celebrate GRC’s legacy with this piece.”
