Giving Tuesday - Help A Child Smile's Parking Fund

Help A Child Smile is participating in Giving Tuesday on Tuesday, November 29. Please help us raise funds for our paid hospital parking fund. Our yearly budget to pay for hospital parking for our families is $60,000.

For over three decades Help A Child Smile has been supporting children with cancer being treated at McMaster Children’s Hospital and their families. Each year, our charity provides funding to families for paid hospital parking, gas cards, events for the whole family, wish trips to Give the Kids the World resort in Florida as well as other supports including medical procedures not covered by OHIP.

We do not receive government grants or regular corporate sponsorship.
All of our funds are raised through private donations and fundraisers.

The pandemic impacted our fundraising efforts, due to the cancellation of many in-person fundraising events. We are working to rebuild
our coffers to continue to provide our programming and supports.
