Fill a Truck

On Sunday June 11, Rotarians will be at Jay’s No Frills in Paris for a second “Fill a Truck” Food Drive. Rotarians will be at Jay’s No Frills in Paris from 8:30am to 1:00pm receiving donations.

In the fall of 2022, the Paris Rotarians held an event in the same location, and thanks to the overwhelming support of the community, over 1400 pounds of food was donated to the Local Food Bank run by the Salvation Army.  Armed with flyers for the most needed items and smiles, Rotarians greeted shoppers at No Frills and were blown away by the generosity of Community Members.  With more Families than ever relying on Food Banks to sustain them, the summer can become a difficult time where families are forced to choose between child care and work.  Food Banks report seeing an increase in families accessing services during these summer months.  The Satellite Club of Paris aims to support local families and the Food Bank through, what is hopefully to be, another very successful “Fill a Truck” event!    Thank you for supporting our event!
