Event Details

Come enjoy the scenic countryside setting of Whistling Gardens,
20-acres with 4,000 different plants including the world’s largest
public conifer collection and North Americas’ largest public peony
collection. Visit the Fountain Amphitheatre, Bird Aviary and numerous
serene water features while strolling on the wide easy to walk paths.

Stay for an afternoon of fun – Perfect for a Date, Girls Day, Just Friends or Family Outing!!!!

  • Fountain Show – 11:15 am, 1:00 pm and 2:45 pm
  • Lawn Games – Croquet, Giant Tic-Tac-Toe & Chess in the Garden Arbor

  • Add-On ActiviTea – create a teacup planter to take home 15-minute drop-in.

Pick-up your Ploughman’s – a classic British Snack Boxed Lunch: Buttery Scone
Sandwich Ham & Egg Salad, Cheese, Pickled Goods, Fresh Seasonal Produce and a Light Dessert. Includes cold-brewed Tea, Lemonade or Water.

We will also have some of Teas and Toasts and The Jelly Girls along with other local vendor products available for purchase.

Your ticket includes: free parking, self-guided walking tour of the gorgeous gardens, delicious food, refreshing drinks (no outside drinks allowed, except for children
under 4), musical fountain show(s), lawn games and photo scavengers hunt while having a fun day out.

What to Bring – Picnic Blanket, Parasol, Semi-Formal or Smart-Casual Dress and Camera for stunning photo opportunities.
Please note No dogs are allowed in the gardens unless it is a certified guide dog.

Dress Code   

Semi-formal: Floral prints, soft pastels, and monochrome dresses are all good choices. Something comfy, breathable, lightweight with a hint of class. Stand out
with a few whimsical accessories.

Smart casual: Light coloured shorts (around knee length) or slacks paired with a classy shirt and tie. Brimmed Hats. Closed-toes shoes (flat or low-profile).

Health Measures
– Spacious 20-acre open-air property with wide easy to walk paths for social distancing, Portable Washrooms with hand washing; and Sanitation at each activity, bring your masks.

Cancellation Policy 

We reserve the right to cancel an event due to low enrolment, inclement weather or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable. If we cancel an event, registrants will be offered a full refund. Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of an event, registrants will have the option to either receive a full refund or transfer registration to the same event at the new, future date.

In the case of cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances, we will follow the recommendations of Municipal, Provincial and Federal Public Health Agencies. If an event is cancelled or the office is closed, it will be posted online.
