County of Brant to Celebrate the Official Opening of Three New Fire Stations

The County of Brant will celebrate the official opening of three new fire stations: the Scotland Fire Station, Onondaga Fire Station and Cainsville Fire Station.  The community is welcomed to attend these upcoming celebrations.

The official openings include:

• Scotland Fire Station, 83 Simcoe St. on Sat. May 28, 1:00pm to 2:30pm
• Onondaga Fire Station, 734 Hwy #54, Sat. June 18, 10:30am to 12:00pm
• Cainsville Fire Station, 17 Ewart Ave. on Sat. June 25, 10:30am to 12:00pm

A plaque unveiling, hose cutting ceremony and tours will be part of the events.

The opening of the library kiosk located at the Onondaga Fire Station will also be celebrated. Children are invited to attend the event and participate in a craft with Library staff on Sat. June 18. The library kiosk offers 24/7 access to bestselling books and DVDs for kids and adults. Staff will be on hand to offer demonstrations and library card signup.

For those interested in attending the Onondaga Fire Station celebration, please park across the road at the Onondaga Park and a shuttle will be provided through Brant Transit to transport you safely to the Fire Station. Please note, face coverings are required on Brant Transit.
