Celebration of Neighbourhoods

Three days of learning, conversation and community building focusing on neighbourhoods. All events are free but you must be registered.

Virtual Sessions:

In Person Community Event

• Wed. Sept. 21, 4:00–7:00pm

Neighbourhoods are often described as “the unit of change”.
During the three sessions being offered (free of charge) in the mornings, we will be hearing from experts who are passionate about community, citizenship, connecting and the critical step of focusing on neighbourhoods for change and community building.

On Wednesday afternoon for those of us who can be with us in person we will explore the neighbourhood of Eagle Place in Brantford. We call this event, Near and Dear:  (def.) A fun community conversation and experience exploring the people, places, businesses, and
groups that make up a neighbourhood. A meal will be offered, over which we will talk about what we found while exploring and the ways that connections can be grown in the neighbourhood to further strengthen this great neighbourhood.
