A few words from Community Member, and group facilitator Sandy:
“Hi there! My name is Sandy and it is my honor to offer this Positively Grieving Group to our lovely Brantford Community. While I have done some studying on grief and attended as many teachings on grief that I can I am not an expert. I believe we individually become experts at our own grief, since no two look alike.
I am looking forward to gathering together to hear and embrace each other’s story and hear from the group members what they would like this group to look like. It’s your group, I am only there to facilitate it.”

ViBrant ARC (Art Reconnecting Community) presents the Salon ARC Series
What is a salon? It is a gathering of curious people, exploring artful ideas, nurturing culture and encouraging conversation.
WHEN: Friday February 24, 2023
TIME: 7pm to 9 pm, doors open at 6:30 pm
WHERE: Glenhyrst Art Gallery, 20 Ava Road, Coach House
WHO: David McKee, Brantford’s Town Crier
As of May 25th, David McKee will have been Branford’s Town Crier for thirty-one years. David has proclaimed Brantford’s many virtues at home, throughout Canada and around the world. A lot of people in Brantford do not realize that David has been a musical and theatrical entertainer for almost seventy years – starting well before he became Town Crier. He is looking forward to revealing a few secrets to the Salon guests.
SALON ARC (Art Reconnecting Community) is presented by ViBrant ARC and supported by Belonging Brant and Glenhyrst. We will continue to host this event on the 4th FRIDAY of each month (no salon in December).
It is our intent to highlight the artistic and cultural talent that resides in our community of Brantford, Brant County and Six Nations of the Grand River.
ViBrant ARC gratefully accepts donations of cash/cheque to help us continue our efforts to
bring our community together for an evening of exploration and conversation.
Arrive early on Friday February 24, 2023 as this is a FIRST COME, FIRST SEATED event, maximum 50 guests. The Coach House is fully accessible and FREE parking is available.
Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
ViBrant ARC is looking to expand our group so if you feel you want to explore with us then
please join us at our monthly meetings at the Brantford Public Library, 5pm-6pm,
3rd floor meeting room of the library. Meetings are posted on the Belonging Brant Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/BelongingBrant,
you can email belongingbrant@gmail.com
or call 519-758-5394, extension 207. Please feel free to ask any questions about our group’s future ideas and/or to contribute your ideas.
