Spring is in the air and that means the 7th Annual “Easter at Addie’s, Egg Hunt, Petting Zoo & More!” at the Adelaide Hunter Hoodless Homestead is right around the corner. On Good Friday, April 19th, join the Easter Bunny and all the Easter-tastic fun from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Homestead located at 359 Blue Lake Road, St. George, Ontario.

There is so much to do at Easter at Addie’s! Enjoy captivating storytelling by the Brant Story-Time Entertainers in the Homestead Museum and then have your face skillfully painted by Fantasy Faces by Helena. Decorate yummy cookies with the Paris Optimists, and then be wowed by Willy B’s balloon art! Play outdoor farm-themed games like old-fashioned Sack Races, Bouncy Bull Races, Chicken Pail Toss, milk Bessie the Cow and more! And back by popular demand, the Pilkington Acres Petting Zoo will delight with all their adorable animals, and for a nominal donation, you can feed some of the animals too!

There are four Egg Hunt flights at: 10:30, 10:55, 11:20 and 11:45 for all ages where you can gather as many colourful eggs as you can find and turn them in for a candy-filled treat bag (peanut free option available). BYOB (Bring Your Own Basket) if you like, but bags will be provided. To complete your Easter at Addie’s experience, make sure to visit our wonderful vendors: Bri’s Bambino Boutique, Tupperware Canada, My Pet Moss, Thirty-One Gifts, Something Sweet bath bombs, and Sweet Legs leggings. Don’t forget our awesome Silent Auction items and Children’s Raffle tables.

Easter at Addie’s is a rain, shine or cold event. Admission is $25 per family of 4 and $5 for each additional family member. Single Adults/Senior/Youth admission is $8, and Single Child admission is $6. You can pay by cash, cheque and now by major credit cards and tap debit (no chip debit) through Square. Some activities/vendors may not accept cards so remember to have cash on hand.
