Our Brantford BURST 2018 Colour Fun Run is just around the corner! The event will take place on Grandparents’ Day on Sunday, September 9th. This colourful 5K run is put on by SKIP (Seniors and Kids Intergenerational Programs), an organization which provides programs in surrounding schools in order to bridge the gap between the young and old.

This run is SKIP’s second annual 5K+ explosion of colour and fun! The scenic route, which begins at the Civic Centre at 11 a.m., follows the Grand River looping at Birkett Lane and then returns back to the starting point. This year you can stop at the 5K mark or keep going for the bonus run! Be prepared to get covered in colour, which SKIP will provide along the route. This can be a great team building/family bonding/photo bombing, and a memory of a lifetime selfie opportunity. Plenty of work is put in to running such events in order to make it a success, so we’d like to thank the numerous volunteers and sponsors in advance for making this possible!
