Glenhyrst Art Gallery, McMaster Gallery and the Grand River Grannies are pleased to announce, “What’s it Worth?” Appraisal Day on Sunday, March 24 from 12 pm to 4 pm. The event will be held at Glenhyrst Art Gallery, 20 Ava Rd. Brantford, ON.
The event will be in conjunction with the Art in the Attic Sale, which happens in the Glenhyrst Cottage from March 22 to March 24th. Hours are Friday from noon to 8 pm, Saturday from 10 am to 8 pm and Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm. Collection for the sale is ongoing. Please go to the www.glenhyrst.ca site for drop off spots.
The Appraisal Day will include a group of appraisers who will be onsite to evaluate antiques, stamps, coins, furniture, jewelry, fine art, glassware and bottles. The cost is $10 for the first item and $5 for each additional item. (3 max.) We look forward to a day full of interesting conversation and some fun discoveries.
Proceeds from the appraisal event and sale will benefit the Stephen Lewis Foundation. Appraisals are value estimates only and not legal appraisals usable for insurance purposes.
